Mississippi River near Tunica, MS, March 2022

Part of my day job is looking at remotely sensed imagery. I often find the patterns from those views fascinating and telling of a long story of geological and man-made change. I tried to capture some of that here, but don't think I executed it well here. I believe there is potential for artistic interpretations from this perspective. I will try more with this approach another day. I was more pleased in this regard with my "Ghost Creeks" painting capturing the impact of groundwater pumping for irrigation on creek flow.
