Decatur Waterworks - Mason Mill Park, May 2024

I'm pleased to say this painting has been selected for the 2024 Member Exhibition of the Georgia Watercolor Society. Labor Day, Nov. 2024

Our neighborhood swim and tennis club, Briarcliff Woods Beach Club, hosts an annual pool party on Labor Day, which made for a fun and lively subject. I shared a photo of this on the club Facebook page, and it was well received, with people enjoying finding themselves or their friends, even though the faces are not distinct. A few people even asked to buy a print, which was really cool and surprising to me, so I had a few made. UPDATE: On 7-6-25, I received word from the Georgia Watercolor Society that this painting was accepted into the Member Exhibition to be held in Ellijay, GA, Aug. 12-Sept. 26, https://georgiawatercolorsociety.com/exhibitions-2
