You have to look closely at this one to make out what's going on. A funny story about the origin of this: We have a power line easement with a field behind our house. A few people from the neighborhood play fetch with their dogs back there. One man named Joe has two athletic yellow labs, Ziggy and Leo, that catch frisbees. Ziggy really gets high when he catches the disc, and I decided that would make a good subject for a painting. One day when they were playing fetch, I asked Joe if I could take photos of them in action as a potential subject for a painting, and he agreed. I went about 40 yards away and told him to throw the discs my way, so that I'd get photos of the dogs jumping coming toward me. He did this, but all of the throws were off to the left or right of me. I backed up a bit and told him to throw the disc straight toward me but have it land shortly in front of me, as I thought it would be a cool vantage point having the dog jump right in front of me as I sat on the ...
